Gossip Girl Fashion: Lola Rhodes and Ivy Dickens – “The Fugitives”

So yes, I do know why Lola and Ivy were dressed this way in The Fugitives. (And if you don’t know, go watch it right now!) However, I want to turn the attention away from why they are dressed this way, and talk more about what they are wearing. Peplum dresses have become increasingly popular in the past year. In case you don’t already know what they are, a peplum dress is defined by a short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a dress or skirt. Lately, they have been seen all over the runways, red carpets, and most recently, on Gossip Girl!

Lola and Ivy are wearing the Mason by Michelle Mason Peplum Dress.

Gossip Girl Fashion: Lola Rhodes — “Salon of the Dead”

Props to Lola, or should I actually say Serena, for this beautiful and flattering outfit. After raiding Serena’s closet for an audition-worthy look, Lola came out wearing a blue French Connection coat and a Diane Von Furstenberg handbag.

Lola is wearing this French Connection ‘Wonderland’ Coat ($368.00 $199.99)

Lola is carrying this gorgeous Diane Von Furstenberg ‘Harper’ Day Bag ($695.00). So jealous! LOL

She also has the Wolford Fishnet Tights ($48).

Gossip Girl Fashion: Lola Rhodes — “Salon of the Dead”

Our short-lived It girl, Lola, wears a neutral outfit on this week’s episode, Salon of the Dead. Of all the outfits we usually see on Gossip Girl, this particular one is rather safe (in my opinion). Though she pays close attention to proportion and body shape, I wonder where all the colour went.

Lola wears the Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Metallic Crochet Knit Dress ($1 215).

She holds a Nancy Gonzalez Shoulder Bag.

Finally, here are her Zara Patent Pumps.

Gossip Girl Fashion: Charlotte/Lola Rhodes – “The Princess Dowry”

Who knew that Charlotte or ‘Lola’ could look so amazing when she didn’t have to wear that catering uniform. (Well I guess everyone did. I mean, this is GG after all!) Lola is all bundled up in her extremely warm Doma Shearling Jacket. For everyone living in -20°C weather, a shearing coat is the perfect choice if you are not totally into the puffy down-filled jackets.

Lola is nice and warm in her Doma Shearling Jacket.

Lola rocks the Loeffler Randall ‘Myrna’ Stiletto Boot.

On the bottom, she has the Plush Lined Tights in Brown.

Lola also has a Ralph Lauren Sweater Dress, ROMYGOLD Bag, and Roberto Coin Earrings.
